This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!
Notice the phrase WE WILL. This shows that rejoicing is an act of the will that we can choose. We can "Make A Choice To Rejoice."
This is a powerful spiritual wellness habit. It is a terrific way to start the day because it sets the tone for the entire day.
When we choose to praise God despite our circumstances, it is a powerful declaration that our faith and trust is in Him and Him alone. It also shuts the door to negativity and prevents the enemy from getting a foothold in our mind. Nehemiah tells us that the joy of the LORD is our strength, so this simple act of faith has the power to change the atmosphere within us, which will then change the world around us.
